Have you noticed sometimes you plug in something for the first time (say a new PC controller you bought), and as you plug it, it installs the drivers. A few days (or hours, whatevs) later you come in and plug it in a different USB port and it again tries to install the drivers. Im not sure it is a limitation of the game so much as a limitationThis is the complete guide on Assetto Corsa Controls Keyboard Shortcuts & Hotkeys. What I'm looking for is a filter/assist that limits the steering input based on the grip, not the speed of the wheels. That way, the tires won't turn too sharp and understeer at high speed, but if I am oversteering/spinning out, the tires are allowed to use full opposite lock in order to catch the slide.Run Steam in Big Picture mode. This should allow you to remap the Switch Pro controller. I am trying to play Assetto Corsa with Nintendo Switch Pro Controller as well doing just what I did to play other games: Big Picture > Run the game. The game does not recognizes the controller, and it treats as if I was playing with mouse & keyboard.
Honestly I don't know. Maybe it's because the controller is 2 channels but you need 3 (steering, brake, throttle)? But in that case the throttle should still work. In the end it could be that content manager works with your wacky controller but the actual assetto game doesn't. I'm no expert on assetto or controllers so I really can't help much.
