The "limonaie" - lemon groves - are unique: they can only be found between Limone and Gargnano. In 1995 the local Council bought the Limonaia del Castèl with the view to promote this heritage. 1. Re: limone vs riva. Limone is charming but small, Riva has very good walks along the lake, some nice beaches and lots of restaurants. From Riva you can easily go to Limone and to Malcesine with the ferry and have a trip on the cable up monte Baldo with stunning views of the lake.

6 years ago. Save. Hi, I agree with Tongo, I think my choice would also be Riva. Torbole is a lot smaller but, because of the many wind-surfing schools, it seems busier around the lakefront. Riva also has wind-surfing schools but the lakefront area is much longer so never feels as busy.
